‘If you free the artist, you free the world’ – Swizz Beatz
In the last 18 months BACARDÍ has undergone a step change in its marketing, looking to find a credible way to rebuild its historic connection with arts and culture. This led to a global partnership with Swizz Beatz, the award-winning music producer and acclaimed art collector. Together, they launched BACARDÍ No Commission London which sought to disrupt the way that art is exhibited and purchased, by charging zero commission to participating artists.
Taking place on the 8th-10th December, it tapped into the capitals rebellious spirit to push the boundaries of live performance, creating new experiences to discover and share. Music and art were juxtaposed with ground breaking musical talent, set against the works of critically acclaimed European artists.
A unique stage, spanning three arches, allowed musical talent to perform intimate sets, including: Emilie Sande, Lady Leshur, Blood Orange, Bugsy Malone with Giggs and Eve live on stage with Swizz Beatz himself.
