In the run up to 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, we brought to life Carlsberg’s sponsorship of the England football team, challenging the nation to give ‘Probably the best team talk in the world’ to the England players.
Our three-month nationwide interactive football roadshow, encouraged England supporters to get behind the England football team by recording their own team talk in our specially built video studio onboard the Carlsberg Team Talk Bus. The video was automatically edited with content from the Wembley changing rooms of individuals delivering their ‘hair drier’ moments to the England squad before the clip was uploaded to the Carlsberg YouTube Channel.
The Team Talk roadshow visited 70 UK locations, including: 13 Football clubs and stadia, 50 Grocery superstores and 3 Butlins resorts. The experiential campaign delivered 95% of the total BTL entries and produced unprecedented sales uplift of 21%
