In the NFL’s historic 50th season, Microsoft wanted to tell the story of how their technology is empowering the game of football. Microsoft approached Wasserman to bring the Imagine Bowl to life, a competition asking fans to use their imagination to inspire new innovations that could improve sport.
To conclude the nationwide competition, Wasserman produced a cutting edge technology music performance with Duke Dumont on the weekend of Super Bowl 50 to celebrate the winners of the Imagine Bowl and champion the technology theme. We completely transformed a modern blank canvas venue in downtown San Francisco, Pier 27, into a pulsing music and sports technology hub for 350 guests.
Guests were treated to stunning cutting-edge technologies, 270 degree projection mapping, LED-controlled wristbands and orbs, state of the art lasers and cryo jets, all synchronized to completely immerse guests into the future of tech.
Microsoft products such as Hololens, Surface tablets and NFL Sideline Surface were also showcased for guests to interact with, as well as, XBOX gaming kiosks featuring Forza Motorsport Six and Madden 16, which allowed fans to play against NFL stars such as Drew Brees, Mark Ingram, Blake Bortles and many others.
