Amplifying Scotts partnership with Major League Baseball, Scotts visited a series of their sponsored teams and activated a 10×10 space with a social photo experience.
Engaging fans before the game, participants had the opportunity to dress up in a team jersey and pose for a free personalized photo in front of a baseball crowd branded backdrop. Photos were shared directly through Facebook, Twitter or sent to them by email. Additionally, each participant received a printed takeaway.
Throughout the experience fans were able to find out more about Scotts products and were encouraged to go online to Scotts.com/GoYard for a chance to Go Yard and win a $25,000 Backyard Makeover.
Co-branded premiums were given away throughout the day for fans who engaged with the activation. Premiums included: Co-branded hats, team magnets, Scotts eye blacks and fan guides.
Over the course of four weeks and nine activation days Scotts engaged over 5,000 fans, captured over 1,600 pictures and socially amplified the onsite experience to more than 115,000 people.
