Cheering on Team USA through a socially driven mobile tour

Project Description

In July 2015, Wasserman Experience and the United States Olympic Committee,  hit the road with a socially driven mobile tour to support Team USA on their road to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janiero.

Visiting over 15 events across the USA, the Road to Rio Tour immerses fans into a party-like atmosphere with samba dancers, Olympic history, and in 2016 a Sugar Loaf mountain replica that will double as a zip line platform.

The central focus of the tour footprint are two customized 53’ foot trailers, individually outfitted with, an Olympic virtual reality experience, Team USA memorabilia and green screen photo opps that put fans into exciting Olympic moments.

Each photo opportunity is connected using RFID technology, which allows fans to create a custom photo album, amplifying the on-site fan interaction and allowing their experience to live on well past the event.
